# Miscellaneous Payments
Miscellaneous payments are expenses incurred on behalf of a guest under specific circumstances, which must be collected from the guest at the time of checkout.
**Go to Front Office>> Cashier>> Miscellaneous payment/collections**.
1. Select Miscellaneous Payments from the Type field.
2. Enter the voucher number if available.
3. Select the revenue account to which the expenses will be charged from the Revenue Account field.
4. Enter the amount.
5. Use the narration field to provide a detailed explanation of the transaction. This is especially important as the payment may be complimentary in nature or incurred in the personal interest of management
6. Select the payment mode.
* Save .png?alt=media)the transaction.
These expenses find their way to the night audit list.
The toolbar has options to modify(Open.png?alt=media)) , View.png?alt=media)( to delete), but usually this access is given only to the administrators.
