# Link / De-link Room
Steps to Link and De-Link rooms
**Link / De-link Room**
### Room Linking (Single Bill for Multiple Rooms)
This option allows occupied rooms to be linked together so that a **single consolidated bill** can be generated at checkout.
* One room must be designated as the **Parent Room**
* The other rooms will be treated as **Child Rooms**
* During checkout:
* Child rooms **cannot be checked out individually**
* Checking out the **Parent Room** will automatically check out all linked child rooms
### **Steps to Link Room**
1. Go to the **Front Desk >>Link / De-link Room.**
3. Clicking the Link / Delink Room button opens the link/delink screen.
4. Double-Click on the magnifier in the room number field for the list of occupied rooms.
3. Select the room number you want to designate as the **Parent Room** from the displayed room list.
5. Click on the plus button next to the table to select rooms for linking to the parent room.
6. After selecting the parent room, choose the rooms you want to link to it. These rooms will be treated as the **Child rooms**.
7. Once the parent and child rooms are linked, the child rooms will be visible in the table under the **Link/De-link Room** section.
8. Click the **Save** button to save the changes.
Note:- Rooms already linked with some other room will not be allowed to link again.
### **Steps to Delink Room**
1. Go to the **Front Desk**.
2. Click on **Front Desk > Link / Delink Room.**
3. Click on the open button to select the rooms to be delinked. Select from the list provided. Here, room number 320 is the linked parent room.
4. Double-click on the room number to be de-linked. The screen displays the child rooms along with the parent room.
5. Click the **Delete** option to remove the room from the linked rooms list.
6. Click on the save button to save the changes.
