# Can I view a month-wise summary report?

Yes, you can view month-wise summaries and monthly reports across several different modules in the system. Many analytical and operational reports provide specific filters or default views for monthly data.Key Month-Wise Reports

* **Business on Books:** This report defaults to a month-wise date format, displaying months in columns and specific dates in rows to show both collected and expected revenue.
* **Flash Report:** You can apply a Month-wise filter to this report to see total revenue for the month in a summarized format or as an average per day for that month.
* **Monthly Night Audit Report:** This version of the Night Audit report allows you to view revenues, collections, and city ledger settlements on a monthly basis, including comparisons with the previous year.
* **Monthly Manager Report:** This provides insights into room statistics, revenue, and occupancy specifically from selected months.
* **Room-wise Income Analysis:** This report generates data on room nights, revenue, and ADR (Average Daily Rate) for a selected month range.

**Month-Till-Date (MTD) Tracking**

Several reports include a Month-Till-Date (MTD) column as part of their default display to help you track current monthly progress:

* **Night Audit Report:** Features Today’s, MTD, and YTD (Year-Till-Date) sales and collections as a default view.
* **Occupancy Analysis:** Shows collective data for available and sold rooms for the day, the month, and the year.
* **Manager Report:** Displays statistics, revenue, and occupancy data across four primary columns: Statistics, Day, MTD, and YTD.
* **Segment Analysis:** Provides specific details for nights, revenue, and pax (pax details) for the day, month, and year.

**Forecast and Analysis Summaries**

For future planning and historical analysis, you can toggle the view of several reports:

* **Contribution and Forecast Reports:** Users can choose to view contribution and forecast data for different segments in a Daywise, Quarterlywise, or Monthwise format.
* **Night Audit Monthly Budget:** This master tool allows you to view and distribute the monthly budget for specific sub-groups.
* **Guest Birthday Report:** This allows you to view a complete list of birthdays for a selected month

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.rbsgo.com/front-office-module/fo-queries2/faq-on-advanced-queries/can-i-view-a-month-wise-summary-report.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
