# How do I add a spouse's birthday?

To add a spouse's birthday, you must input the information into the guest profile. Once this data is saved, it can be tracked and reflected in reports like the Guest Birthday list.You can add or update this information through the following methods:

**1. During Reservation Creation**

When setting up a new or existing reservation, you can record specific personal details:

* **Access "Others":** In the reservation screen, click the Others button.
* **Enter Details:** This section allows you to input "other important guest details" into the guest profile.
* **Save:** Click OK to save the information to the profile.

**2. For In-House Guests (Amendment)**

If the guest is already staying at the hotel and you need to update their profile:

* **Navigate to Amend:** Go to the Front Desk Main Menu and select In-House Guest Amend.
* S**elect Guest:** Choose the guest whose information needs to be updated.
* **Fill Personal Details:** Navigate to the section for Guest Personal Details to enter the birthday information.
* **Save:** Save the changes to ensure the update is recorded in the profile log.

**Tracking Spouse Birthdays**

To view these birthdays later, you can use the Guest Birthday report located under Front Office > Night Audit > Guest Birthday. When generating the report, ensure you enable the specific filter for spouse birth dates to see them reflected in the list

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.rbsgo.com/front-office-module/fo-reserv/faq-on-reservations/how-do-i-add-a-spouses-birthday.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
