# How to Re-Instate the NO SHOW reservation ?

To reinstate a No Show reservation, you must navigate to the specific reinstate tool within the Reservation module. Follow these steps:

1. **Access the Menu:** Go to the Reservation Main Menu.
2. **Open Reinstate Tool:** Click on the ellipsis (the three vertical dots) located on the menu bar and select ReInstate NoShow.
3. **Select the Reservation:** A window will appear listing all current no-show reservations. Double-click on the specific reservation row you wish to restore.
4. **Finalize the Reinstatement:**

* Click the **Save** button.
* A pop-up window will appear prompting you to enter a reason for reinstating the booking.
* Enter the reason and click **OK** to complete the process.

Once reinstated, the reservation will no longer appear in the No Show list and will be returned to an active status. You can track these actions later in the No Show/Cancelled Reservation Audit report, which lists all reinstated reservations within a selected period.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.rbsgo.com/front-office-module/fo-reserv/faq-on-reservations/how-to-re-instate-the-no-show-reservation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
