# Group Reservation

Steps to create a Group Reservation

### Creating a new Group reservation

* Goto Front office >> Reservation >> Group Reservation >> New

To create **Group Reservations**, a **Group Master** record must first be created in the system. The Group Master serves as the primary record that consolidates and manages all related reservations under a single group. Once the Group Master is created, it must be linked with the relevant individual reservations. Based on these linked records, the system will allow the creation of **Group Bookings**, enabling centralized management of reservations, billing, and reporting for the entire group.

* Click on the Create New Reservation icon as shown below.

* Create a New group and save.

After saving, the system will automatically display a **Quick Reservations** pop-up window. This pop-up allows you to immediately add and manage reservations associated with the newly created group.

* Select room type, select the arrival and departure date, Rooms, Guest Name, Rate Code, Guest Type, and Market segment as shown below, and click save.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.rbsgo.com/front-office-module/fo-reserv/reservation-creation/group-reservation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
