# Receipt Rate Modification

Steps to  perform Receipt Rate Modification

**Receipt Rate Modification**

This option is used to change the rates entered in the Receipt Transactions while making a GRN or an MRN, if the rates were entered incorrectly previously.

You can only change the rate here if the Bill has not been passed in the Bill Passing Module.

Select the **Date Range** of Receipt Transaction. You can either **View** or **Modify**.

If you are searching for a specific Receipt no. and know the transaction no. You may use this option. Click on **check box**, Select **Store** and search **Trn. No.**

Or Search for a Specific **Supplier** as shown below.

And the **Status**, which is crucial for the applicability of editing.

You can either click the **Display button** now to see all the Bills of this supplier within the selected Date Range. Or Search for specific **Bills** and **Item/s** in next fields. Then click **Display**.

All the Bills or the selected Bill will come in the list in lower section of the page after clicking **Display**.

Once you find the specific Bill or transaction you are looking to modify just click on it twice. The below Screen will appear.

You can change the marked fields such as **Rates, Other Charges** etc. and click on the **Update** button to confirm it.
